Aftermarket
IAE takes a unique approach to its Aftermarket Services offering. We are able to bring true value to an airline’s engine operation through our fleetwide knowledge of over 4,000 powerplants in service while at the same time delivering individually tailored solutions to that customer.
We bring a comprehensive approach covering all aspects of engine maintenance, leaving airlines to concentrate on their core business, or customizing coverage to a level that suits their requirements.
All IAE Aftermarket Service Agreements are centrally managed and run by IAE, giving the customer one point of contact, providing that fleetwide knowledge. This is valuable to our customers and the engine management process as we are able to identify trends and possibilities that may affect engines in the future, allowing us to proactively manage engines in operation.
In order to deliver a world-class aftermarket program, IAE partners with market-leading service providers for key components. Engine overhauls are completed by IAE’s network of maintenance centers which leverage the capabilities of the company’s four shareholders - Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, MTU and JAEC - and ensures worldwide overhaul capability.
Real-time Engine Health Monitoring is a standard service included in IAE Aftermarket Services and is administered through the class-leading OSyS (Rolls-Royce) and ADEM (Pratt & Whitney) systems. Access to current engine health and performance enables IAE to proactively troubleshoot and offer maintenance recommendations for engines in service. In addition, IAE has partnered with Hamilton Sundstrand to provide comprehensive accessories coverage through the company’s C.A.R.E. program.
This approach has proved highly successful in the marketplace. Today more than 40 percent of the installed V2500 fleet is backed by an IAE Aftermarket Services agreement, and over 80 percent of future deliveries are supported.
