Jon Beatty, President and CEO

Jon Beatty was named President and CEO, International Aero Engines in July 2012.

Prior to that, as Vice President, IAE Integration, he led the integration of Pratt & Whitney and IAE as the purchase of Rolls Royce’s equity and program share in IAE was finalized. Previously he served as Vice President, Airline Customers, Pratt & Whitney, where he led the Sales organization, on-site representatives at Airbus and Boeing, as well as Customer Service since 2010.

Jon previously served as President and CEO of IAE from 2007-2009. Before this appointment to IAE, Jon was Vice President for Operational Commercial Engine Programs at Pratt & Whitney, where he carried responsibility for all in-service commercial engine programs.

Prior to this, he was Program Director V2500, was an associate member of the IAE Executive Board and managed the Pratt & Whitney partnership share of IAE.

Before joining Pratt & Whitney, Jon was Vice President, Programs & Marketing at BF Goodrich and earlier worked at Allied Signal as a General Manager with responsibility for OEM production and overhaul facilities. He started his career as a Quality Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft.

Rick Deurloo, Senior Vice President – Sales, Marketing & Customer Support

Rick Deurloo was appointed Senior Vice President – Sales, Marketing & Customer Support for IAE and Pratt & Whitney. This joint IAE and P&W strategy creates one integrated organization that sells and supports both IAE and P&W products. Prior to this, Rick held the position of Sales Director – Americas for commercial engines at Pratt & Whitney. Rick joined Pratt & Whitney in 1998 as general manager for Sales – Americas region.

Jim Guiliano, Senior Vice President – Commercial & Strategy

Jim Guiliano was appointed Senior Vice President – Commercial & Strategy in November 2012. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President, Customer Business. Jim joined Pratt & Whitney in 1993 where he was involved in the Commercial Engines organization following a career in the United States Navy. Prior to joining IAE, he served as Vice President – Global Customer Services. In this position he was responsible for the worldwide engine services provided to Pratt & Whitney customers through its Commercial Engines and Global Services business. Prior to that he held a series of management roles with increasing responsibility, including General Manager of several overseas joint ventures, Vice President – Engine Centers, and Vice President – Global Service Partners Business Development.

Christian Winkler, Senior Vice President – Aftermarket

Christian Winkler joined IAE as Senior Vice President – Aftermarket in October 2012.

He arrived from MTU Aero Engines where he served as Vice President, Business & Partnership Development, and was also responsible for the program management of the MTU portion of the GTF program. Since joining MTU in 1999, he has held a variety of positions including Director of Business & Partnership Development and Senior Manager – Engineering GP7000 LPT.

Dave Avery, Chief Financial Officer

Dave Avery was named Chief Financial Officer in February 2013. Dave joins IAE from Pratt & Whitney where he has been serving as Director, Commercial Engines Finance. He previously served as CFO for IAE from April 2004 to December 2010. He also worked at IAE as a manager in the Finance Department from 1998 to 2000. Dave brings 30 years of financial experience at Pratt & Whitney, including serving as CFO of Pratt & Whitney’s Engine Alliance.

Mary Canty, Vice President – Operations & Programs

Mary Canty was appointed IAE Vice President, Operations & Programs in December 2012. She joins us from Pratt & Whitney where she served as General Manager, P&W Line Maintenance Services and Integrated Service Solutions since October 2010. She has extensive experience with IAE, previously serving as Director of IAE Spares from 2007 to 2010 and as Industrial Manager, Operations – V2500 from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, she served in various roles at P&W in Quality, Operations, and Engineering. In her new role, Mary will be responsible for engine and parts delivery, production planning, quality, programs, KC-390, facilities and EH&S.

Paul Smith, Vice President – Engineering

Paul Smith was appointed Vice President of Engineering in September 2012.

Prior to this role, he was IAE’s Chief Engineer for the KC-390 Program. Prior to joining IAE, he was Chief Engineer on the PW1200G Geared Turbo Fan Program. Paul joined Pratt & Whitney in 1987 as a test engineer and has since held positions of increasing responsibility on the PW4000, 94”, 100” and 112” engines, the FT8, F100, J52 and TF33, and the GP7000 engine program.

Tom Wedeles, Chief Legal Officer

Tom Wedeles joined IAE as Chief Legal Officer in February 2013. Tom joins IAE from UTC where he has been serving as Counsel and previously held the role of Assistant Counsel for Pratt & Whitney.

Tom will oversee legal compliance and corporate governance, provide counsel on legal issues, manage IAE’s commercial team, and partner with the business on strategic decision-making related to new engine business.

Martin Brown, Vice President – Toulouse Office

Martin Brown joined IAE as Vice President Toulouse office in November 2008 from Pratt & Whitney.

Previously, Martin worked for UTIO / Pratt & Whitney and has progressed through various leading roles in Technical and Product Support. He set up and supported the PW6000 program at the Airbus facility in Hamburg-Finkenwerder and most recently, he set up the IAE support office at the A320 Airbus Final Assembly Line at Tianjin, China. Martin commenced his aeronautical career at Airbus Toulouse and has 25 year experience in civil aerospace engineering and product support. Martin is now responsible in supporting Airbus for all V2500 powered aircraft deliveries to airlines in Toulouse, Hamburg and Tianjin, ensuring quality, schedule and customer satisfaction objectives.
